Here’s the latest ep of The Obsessive Viewer Podcast! As promised, our friend (and unofficial technical consultant) Chris Spangle from We Are Libertarians joined us to discuss the Fall TV season. Unfortunately Tiny couldn’t record, but he did record a short, separate potpourri segment that I added to the end of the podcast.

This was the first episode we recorded using the new mixer I bought recently. It was pretty tricky and I’m a little nervous about the finished product. But I’m satisfied with the overall sound quality considering I’m still learning this equipment.

I hope you enjoy this episode and I hope you check out PodcastLand.com for a very comprehensive collection of podcasts you can listen to. While you’re there, vote for us for Podcast of the Month! It would mean a lot to us.

Don’t forget to rate us and review us on iTunes as well!

Chris Spangle from We Are Libertarians joins Matt and Mike this week to talk about the Fall TV season while Tiny was forced away from recording to tend to a work matter.  They cover everything from How I Met Your Mother (and its spin-off) to The Blacklist, The Goldbergs, Parenthood and Brooklyn Nine-Nine.  They also wax nostalgia on viewing habits from their childhood.

After the TV discussion (Timestamp: 1:04:06) in the Potpourri section, Chris shares his feelings about Tarantino’s Django Unchained; Mike reviews Thor: The Dark World (and the state of Marvel’s Cinematic Universe) and Matt discusses Drinking Buddies, Joe Swanberg’s improvised indie drama/romance movie.

At the end, Tiny comes back to give his quick thoughts on The Daily Show’s war on Arbys.

Let us know what you think!
