Disclaimer: I (Matt) couldn’t record this episode due to a family emergency. So Tiny recorded this by himself.

Coming at you a little early in the week, here’s the latest episode of The Obsessive Viewer Podcast! This is a very special episode of the show as we broke down the Oscar nominees with the help of friends from 7 other podcasts! Timestamps and links can of course be found below and in the show notes/lyrics page of the episode on your mp3 player.
I am very proud of how this episode turned out and I want to thank all the awesome shows who helped us out with it!
After forcing to take a week off, here’s the latest ep of The Obsessive Viewer Podcast! Unfortunately, this episode has some extreme audio issues! There’s a consistent chopping noise throughout the episode that I, unfortunately, couldn’t remove.
I decided to go ahead and post this because we took last week off and it didn’t feel right going two weeks in a row without a new episode. Plus, we had a really fun, laid back recording session. So I hope the audio problems aren’t too annoying. If they are, we’ll be back next week with a quality ep.
This week we’re releasing a very special episode of The Obsessive Viewer Podcast! Not only is this the first episode Tiny, Mike and myself recorded together in person, we also had our friend Rob on the show! Rob is young father, so we picked his brain on his perspective of the Pixar movies and how they are affecting his daughter’s early childhood. I hope you guys like it!
Here’s the latest ep of The Obsessive Viewer Podcast! We originally planned to release a general hodgepodge episode this week but the tragic death of Paul Walker got us thinking about past celebrate deaths that affected us. So we ended up discussing that.

Holy shit, this movie was an abomination. The trailer presents a Christmas Carol style movie about a grieving man. But the actual movie is much more disturbingly cruel and is actually self-aware enough to comment on how cruel it's being. But it's still presented as a feel good holiday drama. This is a really perplexing and offensively terrible movi […]
Funny, endearing, and depicts change within a group dynamic in such an earnest way. Mike Birbiglia handles an ensemble cast of characters so well and gives each character their own dimension and motivations. Really dug the movie.
At long last, The Dark Tower was finally released in theaters. Tiny and I saw it together and then I saw it with our friend Tony Troxell from Geeking in Indiana. So we invited Tony on the show to review the movie with us. Not only that, but I also talked to frequent guest Robert Fekkes about the movie and got Mike to submit a Pine Tree Perfume segment. (Note […]
