Stars: Sandra Bullock, George Clooney
Alfonso Cuarón has been MIA since he made one of my favorite movies of the last decade, Children of Men (Blu-Ray worthy). Now he’s back and releasing a movie called Gravity starring Sandra Bullock and George Clooney right smack in the “Year of Sci-Fi” that is 2013.
The movie, about stranded astronauts trying to return to Earth, just got its first trailer and holy crap! This movie just leap frogged over Man of Steel, Star Trek into Darkness, This is the End and Pacific Rim to become my most anticipated movie of the year. I have a deep fear of being stranded in outer space, floating freely into nothingness. And this trailer spoke to that fear in a very intense way. Watch the trailer below:
