I lost track of time yesterday and didn’t get a chance to post my Streaming Saturday recommendation. Honestly, the reason is because I’ve been so consumed with the new season of Arrested Development to stream anything new. Okay, that’s not the full truth. I’ve also been watching Dawson’s Creek. That’s beside the point, though.
This week I picked Tommy Boy. It’s really hard to believe this movie is almost 20 years old now. I caught most of it a few weekend’s ago and, like the millions of times I’ve seen it before, it holds up very well. Chris Farley and David Spade made such a strong comedy duo in the 90s. The less popular semi follow-up, Black Sheep was also a great display of comedic chemistry.
Tommy Boy is a great road trip movie. If you haven’t seen it yet, you can correct this injustice by streaming it on Netflix or buying it on DVD or Blu-Ray.
